Accademia dei Lincei has awarded Alessandro Pitanti with the annual “Alfredo Di Braccio” award, dedicated to young physics researchers with outstanding curricula and publications.
Alessandro Pitanti, received the Master degree in Physics from University of Pisa and the PhD Degree in Physics from University of Trento.
From 2010 to 2012 he has been a Post-Doctoral fellow at NEST, Scuola Normale Superiore and CnrNano. From 2012 to 2012 he has been Marie Curie Fellow
at Caltech (prof. Oskar Painter group) in the framework of Nemo project. He is currently staff researcher at CnrNano in Pisa and his research activity is focused on the study
of interaction and control of nanomechanical devices with electromagnetic fields through radiation pressure.
