A special upgrade of the He liquifier system present at NEST lab of Scuola Normale Superiore has been recently installed! It consists of a new compressor and two different storage units, and it increases the system’s capability to liquefy helium even during transfer operations, significantly reducing the total LHe consumption. These improved facilities have been funded by the NQSTI project, an Extended Partnership project under the PNRR.
