Two-photons high-resolution 3D printer installed at NEST

A state of the art lithographic system has been recentely installed at NEST Lab of Scuola Normale Superiore, within the PNRR infrastrucure project named BRIEF, in collaboration with SSSA University. This high-resolution 3D printer is the Quantum X model from NANOSCRIBE and it is the world’s first Two-Photon Grayscale Lithography system for maskless microfabrication of refractive and diffractive microoptics and surface patterning. Their main specification are feature size control in all spatial directions down to 100 nanometers, microscale printing – with typical dimensions from 50 to 700 micrometers – and mesoscale printing – with dimensions up to 25 cm².
